Bundesanzeiger Verlag endeavours to render its websites and mobile applications accessible in accordance with national legislation implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the accessibility of public sector bodies' websites and mobile applications.

This Declaration on Accessibility applies to https://www.unternehmensregister.de and https://www.ureg.esef-viewer.de


Status of compatibility with requirements

The above-mentioned legal foundations have been taken into account in part in the construction and further development of this website.

According to the self-assessment, the following content is not considered to be accessible:

Controllability:

  • Keyboard navigation does not always work in the correct order.

Legibility and perceivability:

  • Pages with a resolution of 320 x 256 pixels are not legible in some places due to overlapping text.
  • The following problems relate to the inability to have texts or elements read aloud by a screen reader or to have these texts or elements read aloud correctly:
    • Some sites do not have their own page title in the browser,
    • Some tables have no name (as ARIA label),
    • Input fields are not labelled correctly,
    • Some drop-down menus do not work satisfactorily when a screen reader is used,
    • PDF documents are not completely barrier-free.

Preparation of this Declaration of Accessibility

The assessment of accessibility is based on a self-assessment. This self-assessment was drafted on 01/07/2025.

An agency specialising in digital accessibility reviewed the website https://www.unternehmensregister.de on 7 July 2023, with a Barrier Check Pro in accordance with BITV 2.0 and EN 301 549, and drafted a review report. Since then, optimisation measures have been continuously carried out on this basis.

Conciliation procedure

If no satisfactory solution has been found after providing your feedback to the above-stated contact, you can contact the conciliation office in accordance with Section 16 BGG (German Act on Equality for People with Disabilities). The BGG conciliation office has the task of facilitating an out-of-court resolution of disputes between people with disabilities and federal German public bodies concerning accessibility. The conciliation procedure is free of charge. No legal assistance need be involved.
