The Federal Gazette / Bundesanzeiger (BAnz) is an official promulgation and announcement organ of the Federal Republic of Germany and is published by the Federal Ministry of Justice. The operator of the Federal Gazette is the Bundesanzeiger Verlag, which acts as the judicial authority for this purpose.

The Publication platform (www.publikations-plattform.de) enables submission to the Federal Gazette for the following categories:

• Judicial part

• Company announcements

• Miscellaneous announcements

• Capital market

• Accounting/financial reports, i. e.

  • Accounting documents (e.g. annual financial statements) and company reports of companies for financial years beginning before 01.01.2022

  • Accounting documents of health insurance funds and associations of panel doctors

Accounting documents and company reports for financial years beginning after 31.12.2021 are to be submitted directly to the Company register for disclosure.

Accounting documents and company reports with a financial year beginning before 01.01.2022 must continue to be submitted to the Federal Gazette even after the DiRUG comes into force.

The balance sheet navigator, which you can access via the start page of the Publication platform, provides support on the question of which disclosure medium you need to submit your documents to.

Via the Federal Gazette (www.bundesanzeiger.de) you have access to

• official and court notices and proclamations,

• announcements under company law,

• accounting documents and company reports of companies (submitted to the Federal Gazette before the DiRUG came into force),

• accounting documents of health insurance funds pursuant to the Social Code,

• capital market information and reports,

• unofficial publications,

• as well as other announcements from a wide range of legislative areas.

The operator of the Federal Gazette forwards the following data to the Company register for inclusion:

• announcements under company law

• publications by companies under the Securities Trading Act or the Investment Act

• publications by bidders, companies, management boards and supervisory boards pursuant to the Securities Acquisition and Takeover Act [Wertpapiererwerbs- und Übernahmegesetz]

• publications pursuant to the Stock Exchange Admissions Regulation in the Federal Gazette

• Announcements and publications by capital management companies and externally managed investment companies pursuant to the German Investment Code, the German Investment Act and the German Investment Tax Act
